The State Energy Administration Released the State Electricity Safety Production Situation in April

In April 2019, there were 6 electric power casualty accidents and 9 deaths nationwide, an increase of 1 accident and 4 deaths compared with the same period of last year.  Among them, there were 5 casualties and 8 deaths in electric power production, an increase of 5 compared with the number and 8 deaths.  One personal casualty accident and one death occurred in electric power construction, 4 fewer than the number and 4 fewer than the number of deaths.
In April, there was a power equipment accident with direct economic loss of more than 1 million yuan, the same as the comparison.  There was no electricity safety incident, one less than the number.
In April, there were no more than major accidents of electric power casualties, no more than major accidents of electric power equipment, and no accidents of power system hydropower station dam collapse, dam overflow and major impact on society.
Electric power personal casualty accident
On April 6, the State Grid Shaanxi Zhen 'an Pumped Storage Co., Ltd. suffered a personal casualty accident and one person died.  China Water Conservancy and Hydropower Third Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd., affiliated to China Electric Power Construction Group Co., Ltd., was carrying out installation and commissioning of construction transformers at the entrance of No.6 tunnel on the upper and lower reservoir connecting highway of Shaanxi Zhenan Pumped Storage Power Station, affiliated to State Grid Corporation of China, and an electric shock accident occurred to the operator, killing one person.
2. On April 12, a personal casualty accident occurred in Zhoujiajing Wind Farm of Minqin Aerospace New Energy Investment Co., Ltd., killing 4 people.  A wind turbine tower collapsed when a maintenance team composed of outsourcing units such as Beijing Wanyuan Industry Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Aerospace Wanyuan Wind Power Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and Tianjin WanDelaisse Science and Technology Co., Ltd. was carrying out wind turbine regular inspection at Zhoujiajing Wind Farm of Minqin Aerospace New Energy Investment Co., Ltd. located in Minqin County, Wuwei City, Gansu Province.  Six maintenance personnel on the fan fell, resulting in 4 deaths and 2 injuries.
On April 16, Datang Baoding Thermal Power Plant had a personal casualty accident and one person died.  In the process of installing the cover of the blowdown pump of the cooling tower, the maintenance department of Datang Baoding Thermal Power Plant of Datang Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Energy Development Co., Ltd., affiliated to China Datang Group Co., Ltd., an operator stepped on the drain cover plate and fell down, causing the operator to fall into the water, killing one person.
On April 19, Shenyang China Resources Thermal Power Co., Ltd. suffered a personal casualty accident, killing one person.  An operator of China Resources Northeast Electric Power Engineering Co., Ltd. fell from a height while cleaning coal on the No.3 coal conveying belt of Shenyang China Resources Thermal Power Co., Ltd. affiliated to China Resources Electric Power Holding Co., Ltd., killing one person.
On April 29, a personal casualty accident occurred in Nandan County Water Conservancy and Electric Power Co., Ltd. and one person died.  The staff of Chengguan Power Supply Institute of Nandan County Water Conservancy and Electric Power Co., Ltd., affiliated to Guangxi Water Conservancy and Electric Power Group Co., Ltd., were electrocuted when measuring the distance between the 10 kV line and the ground with electricity, resulting in one death.
On April 30, Sichuan hydropower investment and management group zizhong longyuan power co., ltd. suffered a personal injury and death accident, and one person died.  One person was killed when a 10 kV high voltage lightning arrester was replaced in Yongxing Village, Falun Town, where the power supply of Zizhong Longyuan Electric Power Co., Ltd., a Sichuan Hydropower Investment and Management Group affiliated to Sichuan Energy Investment Group Co., Ltd., was located.
Electric power equipment accident
On April 23, an equipment accident occurred in Hunan huadian Changsha power generation co., ltd.  At 19: 18 on the 23rd, a fire broke out in the No.2 flue of the desulfurization clean flue installation construction site of Hunan Huadian Changsha Power Generation Co., Ltd., affiliated to china huadian corporation Hunan Branch.  At 1950 hours, an open fire was extinguished on the scene.  Details of the accident and losses are under investigation and verification.
